How soon can babies eat meat?Updated 2 months ago
Meat and healthy fats are some of the easiest foods for babies to digest at a young age. For early starters, we often recommend beginning with foods like pre-chewed/pureed meat, liver, egg yolks, bone broth, and avocado. Check out our blog for more tips!
We recommend waiting to introduce solids until a baby is at least six months old, as most health professionals suggest. However, in special cases, doctors may recommend introducing solids earlier. Please discuss this with your child’s healthcare provider to determine the best approach for your little one.
If your baby doesn’t like a food at first, that’s okay, keep offering it! Sometimes it can take a dozen or more introductions before they’re willing to accept it.
